    [SOLVED] Typo in the documentation? (Answer: NO!)

    Hi

    Reading about escalations in the docu I am not sure if it is a Typo or I do not understand how it works:

    http://www.shinken-monitoring.org/wi...cs-escalations

    Code:
    define service{
       notification_interval   1440
       escalations  ToLevel2,ToLevel3
    }

    Then with the escalations objects :

    define escalation{
     first_notification_time  60
     last_notification_time   120
     contact_groups  level2
    }

     define escalation{
     first_notification_time  120
     last_notification_time   0
     contact_groups  level3
    }
    Shouldn't the contact_groups be ToLevel2 and ToLevel3 and not level2 and level3????

    Regards,
    Florian

    No, contacts groups are level2 and level3, ToLevel2/3 are escalations that are rules to send to them the alerts, they are not the same objects
