Mongodb won't start -- shinken should'nt start it automatically ?

    Hi,

I 've installed shinken on a virtual debian 6.06.
with the help of the documentation http://www.shinken-monitoring.org/wi...c_installation

I 've received a message from the webui dashboard "You didn't define a WebUI module".

I 've check the etc/shinken-specific.cfg, everything seems ok !

Then from the log file var/skonf-debug.log I realised than the issue was than the mondb was'nt running.

    If I start mongo db by `sudo /usr/bin/mongod -f /etc/mongodb.conf`

    my problem is resolved !

My question is: 'shinken should'nt start it automatically ?'

if Yes where should I look to fixed it !

if Not thanks for the information.

    thanks,

    jerry

    Hi,
no Shinken don't start MongoDB. Do you installed MongoDB via "./install -a mongodb"?

If you don't feel confident in checking the startup level of MongoDB, than have a look at this program "rcconf".
