    Graph creation

    Hi,

    I would to know how pnp knows that there is a new host/service to graph. I know that the process_perf_data command is here to activate the graph but even if i put it in my host/service definition, the graph is not generated and i haven't new folder in /usr/local/pnp4nagios/var/perfdata/.

    NB : the default localhost graph are well working.

    Thank you

    Lagrap

    I'm having similar problem.

    I created new advanced-services (from nconf way of saying) and these are not generating graphs.
    All other services are generating.

    Any idea? Maybe because I didn't inherit from generic-service first?

    My problem was on the check_snmp version I'm using. I'm using one from nagios exchange ( http://exchange.nagios.org/directory...k_snmp/details version 1.4) but this one doesn't provide the performance data.

    What I did was to wrap it into a sh script that does the job for me.

    Code:
    #!/bin/sh

    OUTPUT=`/usr/local/shinken/libexec/check_snmp.bin $*`
    RET=$?

    PERFORMANCE=`echo $OUTPUT | cut -d'*' -f2`
    echo "$OUTPUT|$PERFORMANCE"

    exit $RET
    It's ugly but I at least see that PNP4Nagios is trying to plot something. I'll keep you posted if it doesn't work.
