    [RESOLVED] Nagvis without Nagios

    Hi,

I successfully installed Shinken / Thruk / pnp4nagios & Ninja (except the error described there http://www.shinken-monitoring.org/fo...44.html#msg244).

Until now i was able to install these tools without installing Nagios.
However now i'm trying to install Nagvis (i followed the instructions of the shinken doc) and i got the following errors :

    - I can't edit the maps (error :"the given action is not valid&quot
    - When i place my cursor on an item i got nothing displayed (i should have a status summary)
    - When i clic on an item it tries to reach the nagios/cgi-bin but it's not installed.

Does Nagvis depend of nagios ?? Is it necessary to install nagios ?

    Thank you,
    Sam

    Re: Nagvis without Nagios

I had some hard time configuring nagvis (I don't really know how I succeed).

    - Can't help on this
    - Check your unix permission
    - The default URL can be change from the config file nagvis.ini.php by adjusting the variable htmlcgi to /thruk/cgi-bin[/li][/list]

    Yes Nagvis works without Nagios.

    Good luck.

    Ok, thanks obiouane.

I'll try this evening to point to the thruk's cgi-bin and will let you know if it works.

That's OK, I've put to my nagvis.ini.php and now i can reach thruk from nagvis.

    Thanks obiouane.

Now i just have to figure out why i can't edit any map "the given action is not valid".
