    egg cache errors

    Hi,
anyone seen these errors? They sound harmful to me, what can I do to get rid of them?

    Code:
Warning in importing module : Can't extract file(s) to egg cache

The following error occurred while trying to extract file(s) to the Python egg
    cache:

     [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/root/.python-eggs'

The Python egg cache directory is currently set to:

     /root/.python-eggs

Perhaps your account does not have write access to this directory? You can
change the cache directory by setting the PYTHON_EGG_CACHE environment
variable to point to an accessible directory.
    Thanks
    timo

No sorry, I don't know where it can came from, seems to be a strange python configuration. What is the OS?

The OS is a opensuse 11.4, would prefer precise pangolin though.

I've got the feeling that it came after installing some modules, which I did to get rid of all the warnings.

    E.g. I did this:

    Code:
    zypper in python-ldap
    zypper in python-mysql

    easy_install pymongo
    easy_install redis
    easy_install python-memcached
Here are the only .egg files I have on the system, so it seems like it is related to that.

    Code:
     # find /usr -name "*.egg"
    /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/redis-2.4.12-py2.7.egg
    /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pymongo-2.2-py2.7-linux-x86_64.egg
    /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/python_memcached-1.48-py2.7.egg
    /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pysqlite-2.6.3-py2.7-linux-x86_64.egg
    /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/Pyro-3.16-py2.7.egg
And I am still searching for the other names of the modules, to which I get warnings.

    Code:
[1336637547] Warning in importing module : No module named android
[1336637547] Warning in importing module : No module named org.shinken_monitoring.tsca
I know, you already told me that I can ignore them, but I just wanted it to be running smoother.

    Thanks
    timo
