Thread: relatve paths in shinken config

    relatve paths in shinken config

    In the shinken config file (nagios.cfg), relative paths are used for cfg_file, cfg_dir etc ..., eg:

    cfg_file=servicegroups.cfg
    cfg_file=hostgroups.cfg
    cfg_file=contactgroups.cfg
    cfg_dir=hosts
    cfg_dir=services
    cfg_dir=packs
    cfg_dir=objects/discovery

    But to work acceptable in thruk, the paths need to be changed to absolute:

    cfg_file=/usr/local/shinken/etc/servicegroups.cfg
    cfg_file=/usr/local/shinken/etc/hostgroups.cfg
    cfg_file=/usr/local/shinken/etc/contactgroups.cfg
    cfg_dir=/usr/local/shinken/etc/hosts
    cfg_dir=/usr/local/shinken/etc/services
    cfg_dir=/usr/local/shinken/etc/packs
    cfg_dir=/usr/local/shinken/etc/objects/discovery

    Maybe thruk can detect the path of the nagios.cfg file and go from there if the file paths are not absolute?
