    Configuration of the module ToNdodb_Mysql

    Bonjour,
    J'utilise Centreon-broker en lieu et place de Ndo (Ndo est complètement désactivé sur mon serveur)

    Dans "shinken.specific.cfg", j'ai la configuration ci-dessous. Je n'en suis pas sûr car j'utilise Centreon-broker au lieu de Ndo

    define module {
    synchronise_database_id 0
    database centreon_storage
    character_set utf8
    host localhost
    module_type ndodb_mysql
    user centreon
    module_name ToNdodb_Mysql
    password xxxxx
    port 3306
    }

    Voici l'erreur généré après le restart de shinken dans nagios.log:

    [1331031237] [broker-1] Trying to init module : ToNdodb_Mysql
    [1331031237] [broker-1] I connect to NDO database
    [1331031246] [broker-1] [broker-1] Warning : The mod ToNdodb_Mysql raise an exception: object of type 'NoneType' has no len(), I'm tagging it to restart later

    new_b.data['instance_id'] = self.convert_id(new_b.data['instance_id&# 039;], new_b.data['instance_name'])

    if len(row1)<1 :
    TypeError: object of type 'NoneType' has no len()

    Puisque j'utilise centreon-broker (au lieu de ndo), quel serait donc la bonne configuration?

    Re: Configuration du module ToNdodb_Mysql

    Hi,

    Please post in English (the community don't speak french in the majority), for french only post, you can post to http://forums.monitoring-fr.org/inde...oard,31.0.html instead

    Here, are you sure the ndo database is centreon_storage for the ndo data ? Can you try to connect to this database and launch :
    Code:
    SELECT max(instance_id) + 1 from nagios_instances
    Thanks

    Re: Configuration du module ToNdodb_Mysql

    Hi,

    You're right. The database in fact is "centreon_status"

    mysql> select max(instance_id) + 1 from nagios_instances;
    +----------------------+
    | max(instance_id) + 1 |
    +----------------------+
    | 2 |
    +----------------------+
    1 row in set (0.02 sec)

    I'm using "Centreon-broker" instead of "Ndo" (Ndo is switched off on my machine).

    Here is my configuration of "shinken.specific.cfg". I'm not sure of it because I'm using centreon-broker instead of Ndo

    define module {
    synchronise_database_id 0
    database centreon_status
    character_set utf8
    host localhost
    module_type ndodb_mysql
    user centreon
    module_name ToNdodb_Mysql
    password xxxxx
    port 3306
    }

    I'm using centreon-broker (instead of Ndo), what should be the right configuration indeed?

    Centreon-broker came with a new database model. It's not managed from now sorry
