Hi all,

I have separate realms for segregating different sites in different cities. Each realm has its scheduler, poller and receiver. Most of the checks are passive and got by receiver.

If the realm's receiver fails or some network issues appear between sites then the vast amount of notifications are created after interval expiration.

Is it possible to configure the hosts from the realm to be dependent on the realm's receiver?

The realm for each host is inherited from the template of such type:

Code:
define host{
        name                    london-server
        use                     linux
        realm                   London
        register                0
        }
I have tried to add "parents" parameter to this definition but this leads to configuration error even if the parent is in the same realm:

Error: the realm configuration of yours hosts is not good because there a more than one realm in one pack (host relations)
