    /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/ not found

    Hi all,
I have installed Shinken following this guide:

All works fine, until this point:
Now, you are ready to run the discovery tool :
    I have launched this command:
    shinken-discovery -o /etc/shinken/discovery -r nmap -m "NMAPTARGETS= localhost"
    and I had this error:
I'm launching nmap with a 3600 seconds timeout
Got Raw disco data /bin/sh: /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/ not found
Effectively, there isn't a file called "" on my server (Ubuntu Server 10.04)

Also, afther the packages installation, opening the Web GUI (server:7767), there are 2 errors (see attached screenshot):
    /bin/sh: /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/ not found
    /bin/sh: /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_cpu: not found
How Can I fix these errors?

I guess the path to your Nagios plugins is incorrect. I think that your file commands.cfg contains macros that doesn't have goods values. Check your resource.cfg file for that

I can answer to the first part of your problem : not found

--> run the install script again and it will install the missing file ( seen on the author's blog )

The and the check_cpu are not in the installed debian packages

    Re: /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/ not found

    Hi there !

for the file not found error just edit the etc/resource.cfg file and modify $PLUGINSDIR$ macro to this path : /usr/local/shinken/libexec

i'm working on a script that will help you a lot i think.

It will install shinken and dependencies, install needed plugins (nagios-plugins, check_****_health, check_esx3 ....) and also some addons like (pnp4nagios, nagvis, mk multisite).

curently shinken installation, nagios-plugins, check_oracle_health, check_esx3 are curently working on debian like distro
for redhat/centos the support is limited to shinken installation (need some time to do this).

you can find it in contrib/alternative-installation/shinken-install folder
