[SOLVED] "Bug" in the submit box

    Hi,

    Here is my situation :

We (users) can only connect to a frontend web server. On this server, apache redirects (with mod_proxy) /demo/thruk to the same url on the apache of the thruk server. (80 and 443 are the only port reachable by the frontend server).
On the thruk server, the apache redirects (with proxy) the urls to the port 3000 (the one of thruk).
So far, it goes perfectly. I can browse the page, see the details, everything.

But, the box that pops up to run external commands, like reschedule, send me directly to :3000, which is not reachable (and will never be).

I think you've coded this function differently than the others. Can you "correct" that part ?
I'll have a look at it myself. But you're better than me at this game.

    Fred.

Re: "Bug" in the submit box

I checked the javascript code (not the python on the server yet)

    I've found this :
    Code:
    <input type="button" name="submit" value="change" onClick="prefSubmit('http:/XXXXXXXXXXXX:3000/thruk/cgi-bin/status.cgi?host=all[/b]', 'Wakizashi')">
This is incorrect as it uses absolute urls.

    Code:
    <a href="#" onclick="toggleElement('pref_pane'); return false;"><img src=/demo/thruk/themes/Wakizashi/images/icon_minimize.gif"
This is correct as it uses relative urls.

This is the same problem that occurs when you choose to rechescule multiple services.

The port 3000 server is usually for development only.

    See http://thruk.org/documentation.html#..._configuration for details.

    Indeed.
    My bad.
I followed the guide, and used the proper way.
    Works like a charm.
